Mary E. (Rice) Gross, age 74, passed peacefully to be with our Lord the morning of Sunday, January 5th, 2020. Mary was surrounded by her loving family, at her home in Plainwell, Mi. Mary was born July 1, 1945 in Kalamazoo, Mi. in which she was a lifelong resident. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard (Dick) E. Gross Sr.
Mary was a loving homemaker for her husband and four children. She loved gardening and traveling. Her favorite places to visit were Florida, going to Disney World and going up north with family and friends. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and memorabilia collector. She also loved collecting dolls.
Mary was proceeded in death by her parents Fred and Ardith Rice, brother Gary Rice, infant son Randy and grandson Richard III (Ricky).
Mary is survived by a large and loving family, husband Richard (Dick) Gross, sons Richard Jr (Carole) Gross, Michael (Susan) Gross, Chris (Amber) Gross and daughter Lisa (Gross) Mikesell (fiancé Joseph). Siblings, Fred (Norma) Rice, Peggy (Neal) Hemingway, Bradley (Valerie) Rice, Dennis (Mary) Rice, LaNita (Chris) Wolfe, Leslie (Mary) Rice. 16 Grandchildren Cheryl, Cassandra, Kayleigh, Jacob, Kerstin, Corey, Zachary, Austin, Trevor, Keegan, Logan, Karynn, Drake, Angel, Marcus, Jessica, Dylan. 7 Great Grandchildren Bricen, Kaylee, Madysin, Kenzleigh, Audrianna, Preston and Kipton.
