Obituary of Harry Johnson, Jr.

Harry Johnson Jr. also known as Dirty Harry, son of Harry Johnson Sr. and Susie Mae Johnson. He was born in Arkansas on February 13, 1950. He was previously employed by Post Cereal in the late 1970’s for five (5) years. Harry was a heavy equipment operator at B& B Construction and Hoffman Brothers for over twenty-five years. He was a part of the Local 324 Union. He grew up in a Baptist church. He loved going out to eat. One of his favorite sayings was “I rather be gambling and losing than not be to gambling at all.” He enjoyed watching James Bond and Old Western shows on TV. He loved making people laugh and talking stuff. Harry loved his family. He made his transition on October 22, 2020 at Bronson Hospital. He’s preceded in death by his stepson Quncy Webb; sisters Josephine Spencer (David Spencer), Susie Mae Johnson, Juanita Johnson, and Beatrice Johnson and his brother Henry Johnson, his granddaughter Karrina Johnson and his grandson Marcus Flanigan. He leaves to cherish his loving wife Genice Johnson of 30 years; his children, Renee Dickerson, Michele Dickerson, Janeen Johnson, Kara Johnson, Brett Houston, Patrice Miller, Shelly Waller, Lakisha Webb, Canesha Johnson, A’neleo Fletcher and stepdaughter; Dana Webb. He has one living sister, Mary Fields and one brother Odell Miller (Wanda Miller). He loved his mother-in-law Georgia Wingfield, his sister-in-laws Linda Pharham (Ronnie Pharham), Shirley Harrison, and Mary Wingfield. He had two special nephews Marlo D. Anderson and Albert Johnson. Harry will be missed by his grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special friends Ernestine Johnson, Marion Glenn (Charlie) and Wilber Lee.
