Surviving to cherish his memory is his mother, Luretha (Horton) Robinson, and his children: DeShawn R. Amerson, DeVon S. Amerson, and Nyla’ M. Amerson, all of Battle Creek, MI. His siblings: Ebony (Rudolph) McKinney, Leah (Micheal) Jackson, Dorion (Danielle) Rodriguez, Antoinette (Louis) Cosby, Denise (John) Closby, Gregory Amerson, Kenneth (Latasha) Amerson, Robert Marriello, and Eric Maxison.
Bobby also had three best friends, his son’s mother, Sonja Rice; his other two good friends were more like brothers Richie Betts and Ronald Rogers, and a special brother Corey Stimoff. He was really close to all of his nephews, especially his namesake Robert II, and his nieces that he helped raise like his own: Robert Le’Andra, Tyesha, and Taylor, as well as a host of other loving family and friends.
